Description

Robert Mervak is a Detroit based piano player/band leader who is very active in the Detroit Music Scene. He attended Wayne State University in the Jazz Program and he has over 10 years of performance experience. He plays with a wide variety of Jazz, Rock and American acts in the area including The Bob Mervak Trio and group Merlson. Most recently he was featured as a pianist/vocalist in the film “Ides of March” from actor/director George Clooney, in which he worked alongside Marissa Tomei, Ryan Gosling, and Phyllip Seymour Hoffman.
